Brides: Get 15% off your Island to East Side Bag w/ code KERICALABRESE
I learned a lot about what it takes to throw a great bridal shower just from attending this event. I figured you might be planning a party or shower for yourself or someone you love, so here are some bridal shower ideas I picked up along the way!
Bridal Shower Ideas: 5 Ways to Create a Picture Perfect Bridal Shower
1. ) Choose a Location with Lots of Light
If you want beautiful photos, believe it or not, you don’t necessarily need to spend more money on flowers or styling. The most important factor in getting gorgeous photos is the quality of the light. Choose a venue like a conservatory with lots of windows or a white tent that allows light to come through the sides.
2.) Suggest a Dress Code
Don’t be afraid to ask your guests (or even just the bridal party, like Deanna did) to wear something special. People like to know what is expected. Think about it- wouldn’t you rather know that a wedding is black tie, than finding out once you are there and you are underdressed?! Deanna asked her bridal party, mom and mother in law to wear blush, while she wore white and look how cute it turned out!
At Katherine’s baby shower, she asked all of her guests to wear white, while she popped in a pretty print.

3. Create a Dessert Table
4. Customize!
Deanna had custom cookies (via Sugared Hearts Bakery), a custom Mrs. Gomez clutch (via Island to East Side) and a custom leather jacket (via Bash Calligraphy) Customizing creates one of a kind photos that makes your event unique!
