5 Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day at Home
Well, it looks like we are going to be celebrating Mother’s Day at home this year. I don’t mind not being able to go out to a champagne brunch, or take a relaxing yoga class or indulging in a hot stone massage. But I am sad that we won’t get to spend Mother’s Day with the special women in our lives.
That being said, we can and SHOULD make Mother’s Day special for ourselves at home. Here are 5 ways to treat yourself to a relaxing, beautiful and indulgent Mother’s Day at Home.

Mother’s Day At Home Celebration Boxes
Many event planners are creating At Home Celebration boxes, like this one pictured above from Xinny at Le Petite Prive and Goodie Box Bake Shop which includes a cake or 6 cupcakes and 2 floral displays. Angi from Angi & Co is also offering a celebration box which includes a hand tied bouquet, 12 watercolor macarons by The Busy Spatula and a charcuterie board by Peppercorn Events.
2. Create a Fancy Bar Cart
Terrain sells beautiful and delicious drink mixes including: Belvoir Pink Grapefruit, Elderberry or Ginger Beer Presses, Fancy Bloody Mary Mixes (just add champagne/vodka) and all the glassware, cocktail books and salts/accessories to mix yourself a fancy cocktail (or two!) – go ahead, you deserve it!
3. Buy Yourself a Gift
Or tell your husband what to buy.
I ordered Joanna Gaines’ new cookbook, Magnolia Table v2 (I love the first Magnolia Table and the make recipes in the book all.the.time).
I’m also trying to figure out where I can put an olive tree in our home. Apparently they like a lot of sun. Magnolia sells a nice one with a beautiful white pot.
4. Order Dinner To Go
Lots of local restaurants are offering ready made dinner to go. Seasons 52 looks like they have a really nice one!
5. Don’t Forget a Family Photo
Don’t forget to take a family photo. Here are some tips about how to take better iPhone photos. Also, here’s a tutorial on how to use your self-timer.
I hope you these Mother’s Day at Home Ideas are helpful! Wishing you a beautiful and relaxing Mother’s Day!
