I had the best time in DUMBO for Jennifer and William’s Engagement session! I had never been there before, so I was so happy when Jen suggest it for their engagement photos! It’s the cutest little neighborhood in Brooklyn. (DUMBO stands for down under the manhattan Brooklyn overpass- I didn’t know the first time I heard it!)
William proposed to Jennifer on a boat with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge, so they knew DUMBO was the perfect neighborhood for their engagement photos…and they were right!
We had the best time riding the carousel, walking the Brooklyn bridge and getting to know each other better. I am so excited for their wedding next year at Nanina’s in the Park and I get to see them next month again for their engagement party!
The Brooklyn Bridge and Jane’s carousel are 2 of the most instagramable spots in New York City and I can see why! I am obsessed! It was totally worth the drive from New Jersey. We got a beautiful, October evening and (again!) perfect lighting! Thank you clouds! If you haven’t heard me say this before, I’ll say it again- clouds are great for photos! Too much sun creates harsh shadows and squinty eyes but clouds give everything a soft and natural glow.
