Chic Dinosaur Birthday Party for a Girl
Tutu / Tee Pee / Balloons / Pillow / Pearl Hanger / Dino Cookies
Hello and Happy Friday, Friends! I am so excited to share this gorgeous 2nd birthday party for you. I’ve never had a birthday party this elegant in my 37 years so I am living vicariously through sweet little Victoria. Katherine has been a client of mine for a long time. I photographed her baby shower and Victoria’s First Birthday. Katherine brought in NYC Party Planner, Le Petite Prive to help her plan and execute this beautiful event. I am linking to as many sources as possible to help you recreate this look at home!
Victoria turned two last April, but Covid obviously delayed her celebration. Katherine opted for a small family party last summer once things were a bit safer. I should have blogged this much sooner, but sometimes when an event is soooo pretty I just don’t even know where to start!
I love the mix of elegance and fun with this cute and unexpected theme for a girl. The florals and balloons struck this balance nicely. When preparing my clients’ for their party, I always advise setting up wow factor shots near a window, like with this dessert table. I’m not ashamed to say this party is more elegant than my wedding was! It’s so pretty I can’t even be mad!
This was supposed to be a full birthday party with guests. And by the amount of thought and effort put into this set up you probably assumed there were tons of guests invited to this beautiful party. And their were! Until the lockdown hit and then the plan changed. Katherine decided to celebrate Victoria’s second birthday with just her sister and brother. But she still wanted to go all out!

I love this adorable reading nook corner Katherine set up for her daughter, Victoria. She even changes the theme each month and updates the books.Party Invitation
How fun is this party invitation via minted? I also love the impeccable styling by Hopelyss Romantic Events. The orange tray and colorful French macarons (from Trader Joes!) completed the look, perfectly.Dino CookiesDino CookiesParty Invitation
How stunning is this Tee Pee? I love the lights, the tutu hanging from the pretty pearl hanger and the wow factor balloon installation. I’m also a big fan of the pillow from PCB Home.

So pretty! Do you know where she got her “Roar” and favors signage from?
