I had so much fun with Amy and Steve during their engagement session. They chose the perfect location- Divine Park in Spring Lake, New Jersey for their engagement photos. I love this spot because its like having two locations in one! First, we started at Divine Park, then just before sunset we drove down the street for some glowy beach photos.
Believe it or not, this was not my first time meeting Amy & Steve! I actually met them years ago when I was Amy’s brother’s wedding photographer at their Bear Brook Valley wedding. I am so excited to see Kristen and Bob next year for Amy & Steve’s wedding at the beautiful Park Savoy.
A Romantic Engagement Session
Divine Park by itself would be the perfect backdrop for any photo session- engagement, family session, wedding portraits, etc! This session was photographed in April, so we were able to get a few cherry blossom shots in! And of course the wooden bridge is also one of my favorite places to shoot.
Being that we are on the east coast, it is tricky to backlight photos when we are shooting on the beach, because to get both the ocean AND the sunset in the shot is nearly impossible (unless you are on the bay side). But I am really happy with how how these sunset photos came out. Even if the boardwalk is the background and not the ocean.
I hope you loved these Divine Park Engagement Photos. It really is such a lovely place to shoot! And if your couple can’t decide between the beach or a park like setting, this photo location can’t be beat! It really is a great option and the best of both worlds. I truly had the best time with these two and I am so excited for their wedding next year!
