First, of all, I have to say thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support on my new website! I appreciate all your feedback and messages and love! It was so good to hear from old friends and make new friends.

As you can probably now tell, I like my photos to have a dream-like, whimsical quality to them. This is a huge part of my dreamer brand! So today, I thought I would share with you some of the songs that inspired my work, and my life. Maybe you’re a dreamer too. I hope you love these songs.

Music and Creativity

For me, music is a huge part of my creative process. Sometimes the song inspires the session and sometimes a session (or couple or family) reminds me of a song. This playlist is a carefully curated collection of my favorite songs for dreamers and doers, for mamas and free spirits. These songs are my go-to’s when I’m feeling in need of some creative inspiration. Their beautiful melodies feed my soul and their comforting lyrics speak to my heart. I hope they inspire you too.

The songs on this playlist are part lullaby, part folk music inspired and maybe a little indie. Many of  the songs (almost all of them!) are covered from the original version so I encourage you to listen to each one because you may not have heard a song done quite in that way before!

So, check them out and let me know what you think! I hope this list of dreamy music makes you as happy as it makes me. These songs are always playing in my car and my kids love them too, so they are perfect for moms and totally family friendly! Lucas always asks me to play “sunshine” first 🙂
