Fall Engagement Photo Ideas
Jenna and Ray were supposed to get married on October 17th at Bear Brook Valley but, like many of my couples, decided to postpone due to Covid. They weren’t planning to do an engagement session when they originally booked since they had already done one and since they also hired me to photograph Jenna’s Bridal Shower (which also got postponed until next year!) Instead, we honored their original wedding date with an engagement style photo session at a gorgeous garden in Staten Island called Snug Harbor.
I love the location they choose! Totally worth the permit fee, and yes, Jenna and I are both rule followers so we did secure the permit! It takes a village to create a beautiful session like this! Jenna had her hair and make up done (see vendors below!) and Hazel Dust Studio provided the stunning bouquet!

Getting Home
I travel quite about to shoot weddings and engagements. All over the tri-state area and more! So I am pretty used to traveling for work at this point. But this time it was an adventure! Funny story- after this session I went to put my address into my GPS to get home only to realize my phone had suddenly stopped working! No cell service and no internet, and of course, I drove our car that doesn’t have a GPS. So I started driving, ending up seeing a hospital and there were 2 cops out front. So I asked them for help and they escorted me to a local Starbucks where I was able to get on their wifi, pull up the directions, screen shot them and navigate home! Turns out there was a factory defect on my phone and Verizon was able to replace it the next day. So crazy!
