Herbary at Bear Creek Engagement Photos

I met Carissa last June because she was the wedding coordinator for one of my couple’s (Jacie + Logan) wedding. Now she’s getting married! I am so excited to photograph Carissa + Eric’s Oyster point wedding in the spring!

We decided on the Herbary at Bear Creek for their engagement photos and it was the perfect choice! We met there just before sunset and had the prettiest golden light! We had to get a permit to shoot here but it was totally worth it! We actually felt like we left New Jersey for these photos. Plus, since we shot after hours, there were no people to work around and no spectators : ) Also, the other popular green house location in Monmouth County, Deep Cut Gardens, also requires you to get a permit but does not allow you to shoot in the actual greenhouse. This greenhouse is bigger and taking photos inside is totally allowed!

Engagement Session Tips: What to Wear

Hello outfit goals. I love Carissa’s Lulu’s white dress and floppy hat! A romantic floral bouquet by Joanna of Hazel Dust Studio perfectly complimented the greenhouse venue. Bringing props and accessories to your engagement session is always a good idea.
