A Fairytale Wedding
Brittany & Tyler ‘s Oheka Castle wedding day was incredibly beautiful. This elegant wedding venue, located on Long Island’s famed gold coast is one of those wedding venues that photographers dream of working at. And not just because Taylor Swift filmed her Blank Space music videos here or because Joey Fatone was also married here. This historic estate is just different than other castle like venues in the tri state area and as soon as you arrive, you can literally feel the difference. This unforgettable wedding venue has a European ambience just a half hour from New York City. One of my favorite parts about this venue is the formal gardens. These pristine gardens are unique because they are so beautiful, yet there are no flowers. One of the best things is the ability to shoot the great lawn and gardens from the 4th floor bridal suite balcony resulting in that signature Oheka shot you have undoubtedly already seen. It is truly one of the finest venues in the world and the wedding ceremony is by far a favorite.
The night before, Brittany and Tyler hosted their rehearsal dinner for immediate family and their bridal party in the terrace room before the remainder of their wedding guests arrived the next day. See the blog post here.

I love this shot of the happy couple heading back to their wedding reception. This shot was not posed, just a truly authentic moment of the groom leading his bride back to their wedding guests.
An Iconic Wedding Ceremony
Brittany and Tyler opted to forgo a first look to have that traditional aisle moment. Their wedding ceremony took place on the great lawn and was truly spectacular. To enhance the already iconic property, Brittany had her florist line the aisle with stunning white florals. In fact, all of the floral arrangements were incredible. Just wait until you see the reception! The entire wedding planning process was designed by Karyn Michaels Events.
Their cocktail hour is currently my favorite of all time.

The Wedding Night
After a full day of getting ready and shooting portraits, it was time to party! Luckily, the Oheka Castle Hotel boasts enough room to host the immediate family and the bridal party for the entire weekend. After the wedding, there was an after party and there was even a brunch send off the following morning for all of the guests who stayed on the property. What a way to end this fairy tale wedding!
Wedding Fireworks
If you are considering Oheka Castle for your wedding or event, I highly encourage you to check it out as it is one of the most perfect locations in the entire United States for extravagant parties of all kinds.
I also had the honor of photographing a number of events for Brittany throughout the wedding planning process. She initially hired me to photographer her engagement party at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Next was her incredible Paris themed bridal shower, also at Indian Trail Club. Finally, her rehearsal dinner, the night before the wedding, also at Oheka Castle. So many fun and beautiful events!
Congratulations again to B&T. I am so grateful to have been a part of your special day. It was truly a fairytale wedding, but it was also so much fun!
