Water Themed Long Island Baptism
Get ready for photo overload! When Lauren from LLG Events reached out to me about photographing a water themed Baptism on Long Island in my busiest time of the year, I’m not going to lie, I was a bit hesitant. I was already booked on Friday and Saturday, so I wasn’t loving the idea of driving out to Long Island on Sunday after already shooting a double header. But fortunately, something told me to do it and I’m so glad I did.
Mario’s baptism is up there with some of the most beautiful parties I have ever photographed- and that is saying a lot! I’ve photographed hundreds of beautiful weddings and events, but I never photographed a baptism before this one.
And Martha Stewart thinks so too! She even featured it on her own website! See the feature here!
Lauren and her team came up with an elegant water theme for the affair complete with an actual fountain escort card display with moving water! The color scheme was blue and white and the invitations were blue water color. Even the rain couldn’t put a damper on the event since it totally went with the theme of the day!
Lauren and her team designed the tent to feel like you were entering your living room.I love this custom monogram and the greenery adorning the bar!I am obsessed with these pillows!
Love this ice sculpture with custom monogram by Okamoto Studio!
Congratulations Lindsey, Joey & Mario!
