Hello! I am so excited to share these family beach photos with you! This is actually my friend Kiara and her family. They used to live in our neighborhood but recently moved across town. I’m so glad I got to capture these photos for them! Its funny because my clients always feel like their session is going terribly. They feel like their kids aren’t listening or that their spouse doesn’t want to be there, or that the wind is messing up their hair. And then their photos come out like this and they feel like it was a miracle. But it was really how the session was going the whole time. So try to get out of your own head and not stress during your family session. I promise I am getting what I need!

The most common question I get asked is what to wear for family photos. It can definitely be tricky to coordinate outfits for your whole family. I try to link outfit ideas on my LTK so make sure to follow me there. Beach photos are probably the easiest to plan for. Sunset Beach Family Photos
I only shoot on the beach at sunset. I know it can be tricky with families with young children but its not possible to shoot on the beach in midday sun.
