Marina + Steven hosted a swanky engagement party at a real live speak easy in Northern New Jersey. They included a ton of vintage elements like an old typewriter, customized matchbooks with the letter K and cigar boxes to embrace the prohibition era. I aimed to capture the vibe of the party using direct flash and slow shutter speeds to swirl the light, capturing more movement and texture. You may recognize these two from their Longwood Gardens Engagement session last month. I also got to see so many familiar faces there last night which always makes parties more fun! I’m so excited for their wedding next year at the Venetian.
